Register with Badger Region Volleyball Association/USA Volleyball on Webpoint (Registering on WebPoint is not registering for Wisconsin Ice VBC Tryouts)
You must first register with Badger Region/USA Volleyball by following the steps on-line at Webpoint, https://webpoint.usavolleyball.org. (It is probably easier to access Webpoint through the Badger Region Volleyball website, badgervolleyball.org. Once on the Badger Region Volleyball website, you should click on the “MEMBERSHIP” tab on the right end of the tab selections. Then click on the “About Registration” tab. Towards the bottom of the “About Registration” article, click on “here” in the sentence, “To register for a Badger Region membership, click here” and follow the prompts for the member option that applies to you.) This includes filling in the membership information and paying the Badger Region/USAV full member fee of $50 (or $15 Youth Membership for the Shavings Program or Free for 8 years & younger) or the Badger Region/USAV $10 tryout fee on “Webpoint”. You will be required to have a credit card to pay this fee online and you will need to print your membership card after you have registered. If you are not sure that you will make it on a team or if you are not sure that you will be playing Club volleyball, then only pay the $10 tryout fee and then you can upgrade your membership and pay the additional $40 at a later date if you do play on a team. The Badger Region will not refund the difference if you pay the full fee and then do not play on a team! Do not pick Wisconsin Ice VBC as your team yet unless you know for sure that you will be playing on a Wisconsin Ice team for the 2017 season. You will do this later after you have been offered a spot on a team and you have accepted the offer.
Please remember that this is registration with the Badger Region Volleyball Association and not with Wisconsin Ice VBC. This fee goes to the Badger Region/USAV and does not cover any fees for Wisconsin Ice VBC. Any potential player that is trying out for Wisconsin Ice VBC must be registered with the Badger Region before Tryouts and Tune-ups or you will not be allowed to enter the gym for the Tryouts and Tune-Ups. This is a Badger Region Volleyball Association rule. You will be required to print out your membership card and show it when checking in for the Tryouts and Tune-ups for Wisconsin Ice VBC.
Wisconsin Ice VBC is offering three Tune-Up Sessions to help potential players hone their volleyball skills and build their confidence level in preparation for the Tryouts.
There will be one (1) Tune-Up Session for the 13s and 14s level players as follows:
There will be two (2) Tune-Up Sessions for the 15s through 18s level players as follows that are being offered to help potential players for Wisconsin Ice prepare for the upcoming Tryouts that will be held on November 11, 2017:
These sessions are open to all interested volleyball players.
The $10 fee for each session must be paid at the door before the session begins. If you must write a check, then it should be written to “Wisconsin Ice VBC”.
All players and coaches must be a current member of USAV/Badger Region to be eligible to participate in the Tune-Up Sessions. If you were a member of a Badger Region Volleyball Club last season, then your USAV/Badger Region membership extends to the end of October so you are eligible for the 13s & 14s Tune-Up Session this Sunday, September 24, and the 15s through 18s Tune-Up Session on Sunday, October 29. You must; however, renew your USAV/Badger Region membership before the 15s through 18s session that is scheduled for November 5.
If you did not play for a Club last season, then you must obtain your membership on Webpoint, https://webpoint.usavolleyball.org. We suggest that you pay for the Tryout membership fee unless you know for sure that you will be playing on a team for Wisconsin Ice VBC this season. You can also access the Webpoint website by going to the Badger Region website, badgervolleyball.org, and then clicking on the Membership tab.
Any person that wishes to participate in the Tune-Up Sessions must show their current USAV/Badger Region card when paying their fee for the Tune-Up Session at the registration table before you enter the gym. You will keep your membership card after you show it at the registration table.
This year we are excited to announce that the Club is celebrating 15 years of service to volleyball players in the Central Wisconsin Area.
Please see the 2018 season flyer with the announcement of the early season schedule for the Parent & Potential Player Informational Meetings, the Tune-Up sessions, and the Tryouts. This year the younger age groups including the 14s, 13s, Chips (11 and 12 year olds), and the Shavings (8, 9, & 10 year olds) will have the All Call and Tryouts earlier than in past years as is now allowed by the Badger Region Volleyball Association.
It is suggested that you attend the Parent & Player Informational Meeting for your age group to find out what the Club will be offering this season as well as providing an opportunity for all your questions to be answered by the Directors and Age Level Coordinators. We will cover everything regarding the upcoming season at these meetings. Please see the attached flyer with the schedule for the Informational Meetings.
Tune-Up sessions will be offered again this season to help players that are trying out for the 13s through 18s age levels to hone their skills for the upcoming Tryouts.
The Chips and Shavings players will attend an All Call at which players will have fun working on their volleyball skills while the Directors and coaches get a chance to evaluate the range in talent and to see the numbers of players that are interested in these programs to be able to plan accordingly for the season. The All Call is not a Tryout for these players. All players that wish to participate in the Chips and Shavings programs will be accepted.
Wisconsin Ice VBC offers teams for all levels of players and multi-sport athletes are welcome.
We hope to see you at the Informational Meetings, Tune-Ups, and the All Call and Tryouts.
